Abstract:

To provide the resin composition which can form gas barrier thin films on the surfaces of molded articles comprising a resin composition obtained by adding a polystyrene-based resin to a polyolefin-based resin, in good adhesiveness, and can impart high gas barrier property to the molded articles.

There is provided the resin composition for forming the thin films, characterized by comprising a polyolefin-based resin and a polystyrene-based resin, wherein the content of the polyolefin-based resin is 70 to 99.5 mass% and the content of the polystyrene-based resin is 30 to 0.5 mass%; and the polystyrene-based resin is a polystyrene resin and/or a styrene copolymer resin containing styrene in an amount of 12 mass% and 100 mass%, and is a material for forming a coating film target body of a gas barrier thin film.
