Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition for golf balls capable of providing molded products without delamination and the golf balls using the composition.
SOLUTION: This resin composition for the golf balls is characterized by compounding 100 pts.mass of the total amount of (A) 5-95 mass % of a polyester block copolymer composed of a high-melting crystalline polymer segment comprising a crystalline aromatic polyester unit, an aliphatic polyether unit and/or an aliphatic polyester unit and (B) 95-5 mass % of an ionomer resin prepared by neutralizing a copolymer consisting essentially of an α-olefin and a 3-8C α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid with a metal ion with (C) 1-40 pts.mass of a polyester-aromatic vinylic copolymer block copolymer comprising a block composed of a polyester and a block copolymer composed of an aromatic vinylic monomer and a conjugated diene. The golf balls are obtained by using the resin composition.
