To improve a conventional graft copolymer containing a large amount of rubber to keep improved powder characteristics during the storage of the copolymer at a low temperature.
A crosslinked polymer produced by polymerizing 30-60 wt.% methyl methacrylate, 65-35 wt.% aromatic vinyl monomer, 0.1-25 wt.% crosslinkable monomer and 0-30 wt.% other monomer is added together with a lubricant to a graft copolymer having a rubber as a stem polymer to obtain the objective powder composition. The method for the production of the powder composition comprises the addition of 0.1-10 pts.wt. of the above crosslinked polymer and 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a lubricant to 100 pts.wt. (solid basis) of a graft copolymer slurry produced by the emulsion polymerization using a higher fatty acid in the presence of a rubber followed by the heat-treatment, dehydration and drying of the product.
