To obtain a resin composition used for laser making and having high sensitivity to laser beams and a high color developing property by dispersing surface-treated inorganic particles singly having sensitivity to the laser beams and having a high color-developing property by the thermal excitation of laser beam irradiation in a thermoplastic resin, and to provide a laser marking method using a resin molding article obtained from the resin composition.
The resin composition for the laser marking comprises the thermoplastic resin and inorganic particles having a metal species treated with an amino group-having hydrocarbon compound and having a chelate-forming ability. The resin molding article obtained from the resin composition, and a laser marking method using the resin molding article are also disclosed.
