Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can give a bag which is thin- walled and is improved in impact strength, tearing strength and heat resistance by mixing a specified propylene/alpha-olefin random copolymer with an ethylene copolymer. CONSTITUTION:40-90mol% ethylene is copolymerized with 60-10mol% 3C or higher alpha-olefin and optionally a nonconjugated diene in the presence of a catalyst comprising a vanadium compound such as vanadium oxytrichloride or vanadium tetrachloride and an organoaluminum compound to obtain an ethylene copolymer having a density of 0.910g/cm<3> or less and an MI of 0.1-10g/10min. 100 pts.wt. propylene/alpha-olefin random copolymer of an alpha-olefin content of 2-4wt.% and a melt flow rate of 3-20g/10min is melt-mixed with 5-30 pts.wt. said ethylene copolymer at 190-300 deg.C.
