To provide a resin composition suitable as a member for an electrophotographic device such as an intermediate transfer belt, a conveyance transfer belt and a photoreceptor belt, used in an electrophotographic copying machine, a laser beam printer, a facsimile or the like, the composition having such properties that even when the composition is in contact with a metal member such as a roller for a long period of time under high temperature and high humidity conditions, the metal member is substantially prevented from rust, corrosion or formation of an alumite(R) film, and to provide a member for an electrophotographic device using the resin composition.
A resin composition comprises at least (A) a fluorocarbon resin, (B) a sulfate or a sulfite of organic quaternary ammonium, (C) an antioxidant, and (D) a chelating agent. The composition includes the antioxidant (C) by 0.1 wt.% or more. The chelating agent (D) includes a carboxyl group; and a molar ratio (antioxidant/chelating agent) of the antioxidant (C) to the chelating agent (D) is 2 or more.
