Abstract:
To provide a resin composition for obtaining a resin molded article having an excellent tensile modulus and excellent impact resistance.SOLUTION: The resin composition contains cellulose acetate propionate and cellulose fibers having an average fiber diameter of 1 to 8 nm where a portion or all of the primary hydroxyl groups of the glucose is oxidized by a carboxylic acid. In the resin composition, the content of a propionyl group relative to cellulose acetate propionate may be 39-51 mass%. In the resin composition, the content of a propionyl group relative to cellulose acetate propionate may be 39-51 mass% and the degree of polymerization may be 50-900. In the resin composition, the cellulose fiber may be a cellulose fiber oxydized with 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl pipenidyl-1-oxy radical as a catalyst. In the resin composition, a mass ratio of the mass (A) of cellulose acetate propionate to the mass (B) of cellulose fiber may be 10≤(A)/(B)≤1000.SELECTED DRAWING: None
