PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition having extremely excellent adhesivity in water, by compounding a specific amount of a water-soluble amino resin to an unsaturated polyester resin composition.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is prepared by compounding (A) an unsaturated polyester resin, (B) a methylol compound obtained by the reaction of an amino compound such as urea with formaldehyde, or its alkoxylated derivative, especially a water-soluble amino resin, (C) an organic peroxide curing catalyst (pref. methyl ethyl ketone peroxide) and (D) a cure accelerator such as organic metal soap, amine, etc. The preferable amount of each component is, 1W10pts.wt. of B, 1W3pts.wt. of C, and 0.02W0.4pt.wt. of D (in case of soap) or 0.1W8pts.wt. (in case of amine, etc.) per 100pts.wt. of A. The resin composition thus obtained is compounded to a composition such as aggregate, filler, etc. in an amount of 15W 20%.
