Abstract:
To provide a resin composition containing an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH), wherein it can achieve reduction in neck-in and die build-up during melt-molding and also exhibit excellent gas barrier and thermoforming properties.SOLUTION: A resin composition comprises EVOH (A) and crotonaldehyde (B1) and further comprises at least one selected from the group consisting of 2,4-hexadienal (B2) and 2,4,6-octatrienal (B3), the EVOH (A) comprising two types of EVOH, the following formulae (1) and (2) satisfied. 2.0≤b1/(b2+b3)<150.0 (1) and b2+2b3≤0.65 (2), where b1 is the content (ppm) of crotonaldehyde (B1), b2 is the content (ppm) of 2,4-hexadienal (B2), and b3 is the content (ppm) of 2,4,6-octatrienal (B3).SELECTED DRAWING: None
