To provide a food packaging, especially a multilayered package, having hot water resistance while retaining excellent gas barrier properties at a low humidity, hardly leaving the rewhitening in contact with water or at a high humidity during preservation and further deteriorating the gas barrier properties due to the retorting and useful for packaging a retort food.
This multilayered package has (1) a resin outer layer having ≥40g/m2.day moisture permeability (a value measured at 40°C and 90% RH), (2) a resin composition layer comprising (A) 97-50wt.% polyvinyl alcohol prepared by reducing a carbon monoxide-ethylene copolymer and (B) 3-50wt.% polyamide and (3) a resin inner layer having ≤20g/m2.day moisture permeability (a value measured at 40°C and 90% RH).
