Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for optical material capable of producing a near-infrared ray absorbing material which can more sharply shield a wavelength region to be shielded and exhibits high transmittance in a wavelength region to be transmitted, and can steeply separate necessary waves and unnecessary waves.SOLUTION: A resin composition for optical material contains (A) a near-infrared light absorbing dye and an inorganic compound, (B) a thermosetting and/or photocurable resin and (C) a curing agent, and a transmittance of arbitrary one wavelength W in a visible light region and a near-infrared region when the resin composition is cured by heat and/or light is 50% or more, and a transmittance of a wavelength that is the wavelength W+50nm is 30% or less. The near-infrared light absorbing dye is preferably a phthalocyanine dye and/or oxocarbon dye. The inorganic compound is preferably at least one selected from the group consisting of a copper complex of a phosphate compound and/or phosphonic acid compound, and a cesium composite tungsten oxide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
