Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relatively low viscosity resin composition containing a polymer epoxy resin suitable for an optical sheet state adhesive good in handling ability during molding and good in film property and sheet molding performance even when a blended percentage is increased and excellent in optical properties.SOLUTION: There is provided a resin composition for transparent sheet state adhesive containing a polymer epoxy resin obtained by reacting a bifunctional epoxy resin (a) and a bifunctional phenolic compound (b), and a curable resin component, where the polymer epoxy resin is obtained by polymerizing at a reaction temperature of 120 to 165°C by using the bifunctional epoxy resin (a) which is a bisphenol A type epoxy resin having an epoxy equivalent of 170 to 200 g/eq. and/or a bisphenol F type epoxy resin having an epoxy equivalent of 150 to 180 g/eq. and the bifunctional phenolic compound (b) which is bisphenol A and/or bisphenol F with a molar ratio of (a)/(b)=1.001/1 to 1.1/1, using at least one kind of quaternary ammonium salt compound, quaternary phosphonium salt compound, or phosphine compound as a reaction catalyst, and using an organic solvent having the boiling point of 100°C or more and steam pressure at 20°C of 0.6 kPa or more of 3 to 70 mass% based on the total charge amount as a reaction solvent, and a skeleton of bisphenol F in the polymer epoxy resin is 35 to 55 mol% based on the total skeleton, and a Hasen unit color tone of 50 mass% varnish of methylethyl ketone is 50 or less. There is also provided a cured article thereof, an adhesive for optical sheet obtained therefrom and a manufacturing method of the polymer epoxy resin.SELECTED DRAWING: None
