Abstract:
To provide a resin composition pellet that has excellent transparency, and is preferable for application to a medical-use base material such as a polypropylene-based resin sheet for PTP packaging, and a method for manufacturing the pellet.SOLUTION: A pellet that is made up of a resin composition containing propylene-based polymer by 50 mass% or more and 99 mass% or less and petroleum resin by 1 mass% or more and 50 mass% or less, has the degree of whiteness Lc of 75 or less, and preferably has pellet mass of 0.50 g/30 grains or less. The pellet can be manufactured by a method including a process of extruding a strand made up of the resin composition from a plurality of nozzles equipped on a die of an extruder at an extrusion amount per nozzle (1 hole) of 140 g/min. or more and 280 g/min. or less, and then bringing the strand in contact with coolant of 5°C or more 30°C or less for 6.00 m or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
