Abstract:
To provide a resin composition forming a polyimide film that excels in both of optical properties and other properties required for a display.SOLUTION: A resin composition contains a polyimide precursor having a structure represented by the following formula (1) {in formula (1), P1 is a divalent organic group, P2 is a tetravalent organic group}, and a solvent. In the formula (1), P1 contains a diamino benzamide-derived structure, and a polyimide, which is an imidized product of the polyimide precursor, satisfies both conditions of: (A) a yellowness (YI) is 10 or less as a film of 10 μm in thickness and (B) a retardation (Rth) in thickness direction is 300 nm or less as a film of 10 μm in thickness.SELECTED DRAWING: None
