Abstract:
PURPOSE: The title composition capable of bonding to and coating a metal face to form a coating having an excellent weatherability and corrosion resistance according to a powder coating method, which comprises a crystalline polyethylene terephthalate polymer resin and a nucleating agent.
CONSTITUTION: The title composition is prepared by homogeneously mixing a crystalline polyethylene terephthalate polymer resin containing 5W20mol% copolymer component such as isophthalic acid and neopentyl glycol and having a second-order transition temperature of 50°C or higher and an intrinsic viscosity of 0.7W1.0 with 0.3W10wt% nucleating agent such as Al, Zn or graphite.
