Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition having excellent sliding characteristics and mechanical characteristics, and a sliding member using the same.SOLUTION: In the resin composition having a fluororesin dispersed in a hard resin, the maximum particle diameter of the fluororesin is adjusted to 950 nm or less, and the average particle diameter thereof is adjusted to 100-450 nm. The hard resin is preferably at least one selected from polyether ether ketone, polyphenylene sulfide, polybutylene terephthalate, polyamide, polyamide-imide, vinylidene fluoride, and a liquid crystal polymer. The fluororesin is preferably polytetrafluoroethylene.
