PURPOSE: To obtain a compsn. for a toner which permits low-pressure fixing, has a long pot life and obviates the generation of blocking filming on a drum surface, carrier staining, offsetting of a fixing roller, etc., by incorporating a resulted product formed by adjusting a mixture contg. prescribed two kinds of resins to a heat treatment in the presence of a radical generator.
CONSTITUTION: The resulted product obtd. by subjecting the mixture contg. the resin A having 2W8kg/mm2 Vickers hardness measured after holding of 10g applied load for 15sec and having a hardness imparting effect and the resin B having 15W50dyne/cm critical surface tension at 20°C and release property imparting effect to the heat treatment in the presence of the radical generator is incorporated into the resin compsn. for the toner. Carnauba wax adjusted to a 0W2 range of oxidation is preferable as the resin A and a carboxylate having a long-chain aliphat. hydrocarbon chain is also usable. A polyvinyl fluoride, 'Teflon(R)', and others are used for the resin B. A polymn. initiator used for the polymn. of monomers is preferable as the radical generator. The content thereof is preferably 0.05W10wt% by the weight of the resin mixture.
