To obtain the subject composition excellent in glossiness and adhesiveness useful for topcoat of ink on package, etc., by compounding a resin compound containing a specific photo-curing resin composition and a photopolymerization initiator with a petroleum resin at a specific ratio.
This resin composition is obtained by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. resin compound containing (i) a photo-curing resin composition (e.g. an unsaturated polyester resin, an acrylate resin, etc., as photo-curing resin) having at least one kind of a terminal unsaturated double bond capable of performing crosslink-curing by light energy of ultraviolet rays, etc., and (ii) a photopolymerization initiator (e.g. benzoin, benzoin methyl ether, acetophenone or methylanthraquinone) with (B) 5-200 pts.wt. a petroleum resin (e.g. an aromatic petroleum resin, an aliphatic petroleum resin or an aromatic-aliphatic copolymer petroleum resin).
