To provide a resin compsn. which has been reduced in the loss of light due to scattering or diffusion, thus effectively transmitting visible rays, provides a high image contrast, imparts a unified appearance to a housing section and an image display section when the power of video equipment is off, and is very suitable as a material installed at the front of the image display section of the equipment.

This resin compsn. comprises a transparent resin and at least one light-absorbing compd. having an absorbance of 0.01 or higher in a wavelength region of 250-3,000nm and provides a sheet which exhibits a total light transmission of 50-90% and a spectral transmission in the wavelength region of visible rays, 450-650nm, of 50-85%.
