A resin composition containing a fiber component and a resin component, and a molding thereof are provided, wherein the fiber component is (A) a surface-treated fiber (component A) which is obtained by depositing 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a sizing agent (component Ac) having a glass transition point of -80°C or higher and lower than 70°C onto a surface of 100 pts.wt. of a fiber (component Af) comprising polyalkylene terephthalate and/or polyalkylene naphthalene dicarboxylate; and the resin component contains (B) an ethylene-based copolymer (component B) containing a glycidyl group, (C) a modified polyolefin resin (component C) modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or an unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative, and (D) a polyolefin resin (component D) having a melt flow rate of 40-200 g/10 min, except for the component C and the component B.
