Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a composition having good compatibility mixing each of the component at a suitable ratio, improved in solvent resistance and capable of retaining the original physical properties in good state by blending an aromatic polycarbonate, etc., with a polyarylate, polyamide and rubber-like elastomer. CONSTITUTION:(A) 10-80wt.% one kind of a polymer selected between an aromatic polycarbonate and a polyester carbonate is blended with (B) 10-80wt.% polyarylate having >=50 mol/10<6>g resin terminal carboxyl group content and (C) 1-20wt.% rubber-like elastomer. A polyarylate obtained by reacting isophthalic acid with bisphenol A and having 10000-100000wt. average molecular weight is preferably used as the component B.
