Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a resin compsn. excellent in mechanical characteristics, moldability, and molding appearance and esp. in the balance between flowability and impact strength.
CONSTITUTION: A resin compsn. comprises 10-50 pts.wt. maleimide copolymer consisting of 35-70mol% arom. vinyl monomer units, 25-50mol% maleimide monomer units, 5-15mol% unsatd. dicarboxylic anhydride monomer units, and 0-50mol% other copolymerizable monomer units, 40-80 pts.wt. nylon 6 having a relative viscosity in conc. sulfuric acid of 2.5 or lower, and 10-20 pts.wt. polyolefin copolymer modified with 0.1-2wt.% unsatd. dicarboxylic anhydride and/or unsatd. dicarboxylic acid.
