To eliminate turbidity or the like as caused by molding or seam sterilization by using a copolymer resin comprising a specified number of cyclo rings with the mole ratio of cyclic olefin to ethylene in a specified range or hydrogenated resin thereof to form a cylindrical shell part by injection molding.
A resin container 1 is made up of a cylindrical shell part 2, a bottom part 3 produced by injection molding and an opening part 4 thereof forms a flange to be tightly plugged by a rubber plug 5. This resin container 1 is molded using a copolymer resin or a hydrogenated resin comprising four cyclo rings with the mole ratio of cyclic olefin to ethylene in a range of 90/1 to 40/60. For example, when a resin obtained by hydrogenation of a copolymer resin with the mole ratio of tetracyclo [4.4.0. 12.5, 17.10]-3-dodecen to ethylene of about 30/70 is used, no crazing is generated without thermal deformation even under a high pressure steam sterilization treatment.
