Abstract:
To suppress a pressure loss caused by a fluid passing through a corner portion of a resin elbow joint.SOLUTION: A resin elbow joint 1 includes a resin joint body 5 having an L-shaped corner portion 4 integrally formed so as to connect a first straight portion 2 with a second straight portion 3. The first straight portion 2 is provided with a first locking mechanism 7 for preventing a pipe 6 connected to the first straight portion 2 from coming off. The second straight portion 3 is provided with a second locking mechanism 9 for preventing a pipe 8 connected to the second straight portion 3 from coming off. An inner peripheral surface of the corner portion 4 is formed by an insert 34. Inner peripheral surfaces of an apex portion 4c, an inlet portion 4a and an outlet portion 4b in the corner portion 4 (the insert 34) are each in a perfect circle shape, and the inner peripheral surface of the inlet portion 4a and the inner peripheral surface of the apex portion 4c are smoothly connected and also the inner peripheral surface of the apex portion 4c and the inner peripheral surface of the outlet portion 4b are smoothly connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
