Abstract:

To provide a resin film coated metal can excellent in foaming characteristic, especially in foam keeping characteristic.

This relates to a metal can keeping the inside face or the inside face and the outside face of the can overlaid with a polyester resin film. The outermost film layer on the inside face of the can is a polyester resin film which contains 0.01-1 pt.wt. of at least one kind of silicone resin and polyolefin resin relative to 100 pts.wt. of polyester resin. The film outer face on the inside face of the can has 10-105pieces per 1 mm2of 0.5-10 μm diameter air holes. Preferably, the outer face free energy of the film outer face on the inside face of the can is 20-35 mN/m and the polarity component of the outer face free energy on the inside face of the can is 5 mN/m or less.
