To reduce the amount of a fuel leaked from a discontinuous part on a barrier layer in a fuel container consisting of a multilayer resin structure comprising the barrier layer and an outer layer.
A protrusion 1b is formed on the outer surface of a tank body 1, where the protrusion 1b is formed to be annular so as to encircle a through-hole 1a composing the discontinuous part on the barrier layer 2b and a fuel component 3, such as a valve, inserted and fixed in the through-hole 1a. The protrusion 1b, the fuel component 3, and the part of outer surface of the tank body 1 that is between the protrusion 1b and the component 3 define a housing recession 4. A coating part 5 is formed in the housing recession 4 by filling it with a molten resin having high permeation preventiveness against a fuel and leaving the resin solidifying.
