Title:
RESIN INSULATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11260169
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To reduce the amount of resin to be used while keeping the performance of a short pole supporting insulator, by providing a resin short pole comprising a screw hole fitting for hooking an electric wire on one end face and a screw hole fitting for fixing on the other end face, with a hole reaching one end face from the other end face, or a bottomed hole reaching near one end face from the other end face.

An inner diameter of a through hole 41 is 1/2-1/8 of an outer diameter of a short pole part of the same height. A resin insulator is used for a hook of a distribution line of 6.6-2.2 kV, a screw hole fitting 3 for fixing at the other end is fixed to a support arm by a screw, a hardware for hooking the electric wire is fixed on a screw hole fitting 2 for hooking the electric wire at the other end, by a screw, and the electric wire is hooked on the hooking hardware for electric wire. Accordingly the insulator receives the torsional moment caused by the wind pressure acting on the electric wire, and receives the bending moment by the tension acting on the electric wire. Whereby the lowering ratio of the torsional rigidity and the bending rigidity is remarkably low and only 1/16, even when the inner diameter (r) is 1/2 of the outer diameter.
