PURPOSE: To improve the handling utility of a resin lens array, facilitate the positioning of the lens array, simplify a positioning device and enhance the productivity of the lens array.

CONSTITUTION: Respective lenses 27 are supported by the supporting pieces laterally protruding from a connection piece 21. The mold of the lenses 27 is constituted so that lens molds are arranged in an annular form centering around a resin injection part. After the annular connection piece 21 containing the lenses 27 is separated from a molded product main body, the connection piece 21 is cut to be extended linearly to form a linear lens array.
