Abstract:
To provide a novel terpene resin-like compound exhibiting adhesive property to an olefin substrate or excellent property on a modification effect of a polymer material.SOLUTION: There is provided: (1) a novel terpene resin-like compound by polymerizing or copolymerizing a single non-cyclic terpene monomer, or the non-cyclic terpene monomer and at least one kind of other monomer selected from a group consisting of a cyclic terpene monomer, a vinyl monomer, and a phenolic monomer; (2) a modified resin-like compound by adding maleic anhydride to these terpene resin-like compound; (3) a hydrogenated resin-like compound by further hydrogenating these terpene resin-like compound; (4) an adhesive composition by blending these resin-like compound with a base polymer; or (5) an elastomer composition by blending these resin-like compound with an elastomer component.SELECTED DRAWING: None
