Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a resin mandrel for a high-pressure hose in which the life of the mandrel can be prolonged and the productivity can be improved by effectively preventing the elongation or the necking at the time of assembling and the cost can be reduced by decreasing partial cutting and discarding.
CONSTITUTION: A mandrel body 1 of a two-layer structure is formed of an outer layer 2 made of polymethylpentene resin (TPX) and an inner layer 3 made of a thermoplastic resin material having high tensile strength. The layer 3 made of the material having the high tenpile strength is preferably formed of nylon such as 6-nylon(6N), or 66 nylon(66N), polybutylene terephthalate(PBT), or polypropylene(PP).
