To provide a resin metal composite member including a metal member, an adhesive layer and a fiber-reinforced resin, having excellent adhesion of the fiber-reinforced resin to the adhesive layer.SOLUTION: There is provided a resin metal composite member to which at least a part of a fiber-reinforced resin member and a metal member is bonded, in which an adhesive part of the fiber-reinforced resin member and the metal member includes a coating layer that is provided so as to be brought into direct contact with the fiber-reinforced resin member and an adhesive layer that is provided so as to be brought into direct contact with the coating layer and the metal member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
