Abstract:
To form a metal film excellent in adhesion on a surface of a polycarbonate resin molding by dry treatment in place of electroless plating.SOLUTION: A resin molding with metal film has a metal film on a surface of a molding formed of a polycarbonate resin composition containing a polycarbonate resin (A), in which a terminal hydroxyl group concentration of the polycarbonate resin (A) is 50 ppm or more, and a peel strength measured according to a (specified) adhesive force testing method of Appendix 1 of JIS H8630:2006 of the metal film is 2.0 N/cm or more. A surface of a polycarbonate resin molding is plasma-treated in vacuum atmosphere, and then a metal film is formed on the plasma-treated surface by sputtering.SELECTED DRAWING: None
