Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin molding a projection plate of which is integrated with the surface of a substrate made of resin and which has novel appearance: and to provide a method for producing the resin molding.SOLUTION: A resin molding 11 where a perforated sliced plate 31 is integrated with the surface of a base material 21, is obtained by performing the following processes in this order: a filling process of placing a thin plate-like sliced veneer material obtained by cutting wood material in a direction intersecting its fiber direction along the inner surface of the metal mold for molding the base material 21, and filling resin softened by heat in a metal mold to bring the resin into contact with the sliced veneer material; and a pressure applying process of molding the resin while forming the perforated sliced veneer plate 31 by applying pressure on the resin in the metal mold to make crevices forming oblong openings 41 filled with the resin in the sliced veneer material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
