A mounting surface 3a of a mounting part 3 of a protector 1 is inclined so that a screw insertion hole 23 of a metal collar 20 is aligned with a fastening direction g of a seat surface 51 of a vehicle-body panel 50. The metal collar 20 has a quadrangular shape, and an opening end facing the seat surface 51, which is inclined so as to be flush with the mounting surface 3a of the mounting part 3. The metal collar is fixed by press-fitting or integral molding to a mounting hole 4. When the protector 1 is mounted on the seat surface 51 by fastening a bolt 30, the protector and the seat surface are brought into surface contact with each other without generating a gap between the opening end side, facing the seat surface 51, of the metal collar 20 and the seat surface 51.
