Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain resin particle resistant to the exudation of a contained organic ultraviolet absorber and suitable for especially a cosmetic.
SOLUTION: Resin particles each of which is composed of a core part comprising a (meth)acrylic resin or a styrene resin containing an organic ultraviolet absorber and a surface part formed on the surface of the core part, wherein the surface part is formed from a hydrophilic resin, are provided. These particles can be produced by forming a core part containing an organic ultraviolet absorber, adding a monomer forming a hydrophilic resin to an aqueous medium and polymerizing the monomer forming a hydrophilic resin on the surfaces of the polymer particles formed in the above step or by adding a hydrophilic resin to make the hydrophilic resin adhere to the surfaces of the polymer particles formed in the above step to form a surface part.
