The resin particles includes a crystalline polyester resin having 40 to 100°C melting temperature, and having 0.4 to 50 kcps Net intensity of a fluorescent X-ray of a sodium element. The method for removing the foreign materials is characterized by comprising a process of making the foreign material particles in contact with the resin particles and a process of removing the foreign material particles and resin particles. The method for forming an image is characterized by comprising a process of feeding the resin particles on the surface of a recording medium attached with the paper powder as the foreign particles and making the paper powder in contact with the resin particles, a process of removing the paper powder and resin particles, and a process of forming the image on the recording medium.
