To provide a resin tube cutting device and cutting method, which extends a life regardless of the material of a cutting means, prevents deterioration of cutting accuracy, and also prevents flaws from being generated on a tube surface, and free from a cutting failure, in cutting machining of a resin tube end coated by an elastic roller.
In this cutting device, a resin coating roll 100 wherein the resin tube 102 is coated by the elastic roll 108 and the resin tube 102 extends to the outside of the elastic roll 108 end portion, is used. When cutting the extending resin tube 102A, a rod-shaped member 52 as a resin tube deformation suppressing member 50 is inserted in an inner peripheral surface side of the extending resin tube 102A, and the deformation of the resin tube 102 when a cutter 30 is put on an outer peripheral surface of the resin tube 102, is suppressed.
