Title:
RESINOUS MOLDING MATERIAL FOR MAGNET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62223268
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a molding material having excellent dispersibility, kneadability and moldability as well as excellent strength and magnetic characteristics, by treating ferromagnetic material powders with specified coupling agents and then mixing them with a resinous material.

CONSTITUTION: A molding material consists of a ferromagnetic material powder (A) having a surface treated with a titanate coupling agent, a ferromagnetic material powder (B) having a surface treated with a silane coupling agent and a resinous material (C). Examples of the ferromagnetic materials are ferrite, alnico, rare earth element/cobalt alloy, etc. The ferromagnetic material is used in the form of a powder having a particle size of 1.0W3.0μ. The smaller the particle size, the more preferred, because magnetic properties are improved. The weight ratio of the ferromagnetic material powder (B) is pref. 1:0.1W1:4. The resinous material is used in an amount of 5W30pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. surface-treated ferromagnetic material.
