PURPOSE: To make the press contact force of a conducting member to a member to be treated uniform to uniformly preheat said member by inserting a piston body into a cylindrical body of a device and energizing the piston body by a spring member.
CONSTITUTION: The piston body 34 is freely slidably disposed into the cylindrical body 33 of a resistance heater 32. The body 34 is energized by the spring force of a spring 58, etc. so that the conducting member 36 disposed in a holding member 35 contacts under pressure with the end face of the member W to be treated. Electricity is conducted to the member W via a laminated body 56, piston body 34 and conducting member 36 of the resistance heater 32 to preheat the member W. The press contact force of the conducting member 36 is made always equal by such heating means and the preheating temp. of each member W to be treated is made uniform.
