Abstract:
To provide a resistance welded tube excellent in HIC resistance and SSCC resistance.
This resistance welded tube has a composition containing, as principal components, ≤0.2%, by weight, C, ≤0.5% Si, ≤2% Mn, ≤0.02% P, ≤0.003% S, ≤0.07% Al, and 0.001-0.006% Ca and having the balance essentially Fe. Moreover, the weld zone of this resistance welded tube has a melted and solidified structure. Further, as special components, Nb, Cu, Ni, Mo, Cr, V, and Ti can be incorporated. Its manufacturing method is characterized by using a laser beam.
