Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the resistance welding electrode having a long service life capable of obtaining the improvement of continuous spottability and the excellent welding quality.
CONSTITUTION: In the resistance welding electrode 1, plural projections 3 which are independent mutually and whose tips become finer than the bases are formed on the tip 2 thereof so that the projections 3 become higher as these get closer to the central part of the tip 2, namely, the projections 3a become highest, and the projections 3b and 3c then become higher in order, and the mutual intervals among the projections 3 are formed into valleies 4. A recessed part 5 is formed by an intersecting point of the valleies 4 which is an almost V-shaped groove between the projections 3a and 3a on the center of the tip 2.
