Title:
RESISTOR FOR ADJUSTMENT OF PRESSURE SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0835897
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase a range of zero point adjusting resistance value by forming the zero point adjusting resistors of an output voltage with at least a plurality of resistors, and wiring them in both series and parallel with a wiring pattern of the adjusting resistors.

CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor strain gage 1 for converting a pressure signal into an electric signal has four diffused resistors 2 disposed on the surface of a silicon ship and wired to a bridge in a conductor pattern. Further, its rear surface is formed in a diaphragm with chemicals, and an amplifier for amplifying an infinitesimal electric signal is formed by an integral circuit of a thick film resistor 3, an operational amplifier 4 and a conductor 5. A sensor output voltage adjustment includes a span adjustment for deciding sensitivity and a zero point adjustment for deciding an offset potential. A zero point adjusting resistor circuit 6 has resistors RA, RB and a conductor 5. In this case, the points (a) and (c) of the conductor 5 are cut in response to the type, and the resistors RA and RB are connected in series, or the point (b) of the conductor 5 is cut, and the resistors RA and RB are connected in parallel. Thus, the types having different adjusting ranges can be used by one type of the integrated circuit.
