Title:
RESOLVER DIGITAL CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6371618
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the high-accuracy working and accurate assembly of a resolver and to sufficiently accurately detect an angle theta by providing a PLL circuit which performs arithmetic S1.Fc(phi)-S2.Fs(phi) even if functions Fs(theta) and Fc(theta) that output signals S1 and S2 of the resolver have contain higher harmonic components, and varies the value phi so that the arithmetic result is zero. CONSTITUTION:The resolver 1 outputs the signal S1 which has the function Fs(theta) obtained by adding higher harmonic components to sintheta as a fundamental wave and the signal S2 which has the function Fc(theta) obtained by adding higher harmonic wave components to costheta as a fundamental wave. A function generator 11 which stores the functions Fs(phi) and Fc(phi) is incorporated in the PLL circuit 10, which inputs the signals S1 and S2 to compute S1.Fc(phi)-S2.Fs(phi) and varies the value phi so that the arithmetic result is zero. Consequently, the angle thetais accurately detected from the resolver output which contains higher harmonics.
