Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a comfortable dwelling environment to the user and to prolong the service life of a compressor, especially the service life of the carbon impeller in a rotary compressor, by directly reducing the noise and heat generated in the compressor.
CONSTITUTION: The compressed gas from a compressor 2 is supplied alternately to the two adsorption vessels 1A and 1B packed with a gaseous nitrogen adsorbent through plural solenoid stop valves, the adsorption and desorption of gaseous nitrogen are alternately repeated at regular time intervals to concentrate the oxygen in the atmosphere, and a respiratory oxygen feeder is formed. In this case, the compressor 2 having a slightly larger capacity than necessary is used, and an evacuating line is provided to discharge the compressed air in excess generated on the air feed side of the adsorption vessels 1A and 1B into the atmosphere through a flow control valve 3 and a muffler 4.
