Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weight of a powered air-purifying respirator of a hemihedral breathing auxiliary type, perform total abolition of an externally exposed filter material cartridge and establish a structure of conversion of a disposable component to a skin contact area.SOLUTION: A mask face piece A is three-dimensionally molded by a flexible airtight material, covering most of both cheeks of a face, and having a curved surface of a thin film. A mask filter B three-dimensionally molded by a cloth-like filter material and having the curved surface with different curvature. The mask face piece A and the mask filter B sandwich an outlet valve unit having a connecting crimped structure with two pairs of crimped surfaces and having a hard function-completed independent component, and an intake fan unit having the connecting crimped structure with the two pairs of crimped surfaces and having the hard function-completed independent component, and thereby restrict and fix an interval between the curved surfaces and conduct the wiring. The periphery of the mask face piece A and the mask filter B is connected, and a mask completed form having a hollow curved surface inner space is configured. In a wearing state, the expansion tension force of the curved surface caused by internal positive pressure by the intake of a motor fan is competitively balanced with the constraining force of wearing in addition to the structural binding force, and the curved surface space is changed into rigidity of shape maintenance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
