Abstract:
To provide a responding robot, a responding method and a program capable of carrying out a natural personal conversation according to a user without the personal information on the user being registered in advance.SOLUTION: A responding robot includes: a face information obtaining unit that obtains face information on a user; a conversation processing unit that obtains responding information including the details of a conversation with the user; a face check-up unit that checks up the face information registered in a user information database in which user information including the face information on a user and the responding information is registered, with face information on one user; and a user information managing unit that registers the user information on the one user in the user information database when the check-up result by the face check-up unit is inconsistent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
