Abstract:
PURPOSE:To restore the common information to a normal state by deciding the normal or abnormal state of the common information based on the majority of the common information stored in a main memory and at the same time rewriting the common information on the minority side into that on the majority side. CONSTITUTION:When an abnormality detecting part 17 detects the discordant data contained in the common information collected by a collation control part 16 which is periodically started, a majority logical arithmetic part 18 performs the majority logical arithmetic to decide that the common information on the minority side is abnormal. At the same time, the part 18 rewrites the abnormal common information stored in the main memories 11 and 21 into the common information on the majority side via the restoring parts 19 and 29. In such a constitution, the abnormality of the common information evolved onto the main memory of each processor can be detected and at the same time the abnormal common information can be restored to a normal state.
