Abstract:
PURPOSE:To control the throttle for deceleration and reduce the backward driving speed by releasing restricting means for restricting the distance between both ends of an accel rod when a transmission is set to the high speed position and the forward/backward driving selector is set to the backward position. CONSTITUTION:While the engine is fully open with the accel lever 46 turned to the direction a and the accel rod 50 moved to the direction c, a solenoid 60 constituting restriction releasing means is energized by setting the transmission to the highest speed position and the forward/backward driving selector to the backward driving position. Then, retracting movement of the solenoid 60 causes downward turning of a connecting plate 53 of restricting means through a pushing arm 61, until a slot 55 of a guide plate 52 registers a slot 57 of the connecting plate 53, so that the restriction of the distance between the control end 50a of the accel rod 50 and the other end 50b thereof adjacent to the throttle is released. As the result, the rod 50b is shifted to the decelerating direction (opposite to the direction c) by a throttle urging spring to reduce the engine speed.
