To solve the problems that the shape of a conventional attachment device used for restraining the wrist and elbow joints causes a gradual reduction of effects by repositioning a patient, pressure on the arm when the attachment device is put on the patient, wounds and skin diseases at places where a restraining strap is attached, damages to a shunt provided near the wrist of the patient on dialysis, and an undue consumption of time to reposition the patient to prevent bedsores and to put on and take off the clothes because of the patient bound to a bed.
A restraining device is a grid-shaped cylindrical body having the strength not to bend and twist and air permeability. Divided parts formed by dividing a part of the cylindrical body in the lengthwise direction are provided with fastening devices. The restraining device is worn by connecting strings with a device to adjust the length, suspending it from the shoulders, and putting the arms through the restraining device.
