To provide a restraining method for NOx and unburnt constituents in the exhaust gas of a waste incinerator, permitting the stabilization of a temperature in the furnace as well as the reduction of NOx and Co in the exhaust gas.
In a two exhaust passes type incinerator 1, equipped with a barrier wall 11 for branching combustion gas in the combustion chamber thereof, an outlet temperature of the furnace is measured periodically by a thermometer 12, installed at a furnace outlet port 6, and the concentration of NOx and CO is measured by a NOx analyzer 14, installed in a flue, and a CO analyzer 15, installed in the flue respectively. In this case, respective measured values are compared with reference values to control the flow rate of injection waste, sprayed against a combustion chamber 1a, in which waste is burnt on the grate in the furnace, based on the result of the comparison.
